HR Manager

As the HR Manager you will originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture. A culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. You will be implementing services, policies and procedures, you will report to the Group President, and assist and advise senior management about Human Resources issues. The position would involve a variety of projects and tasks, and could lead to significant personal and career growth opportunities within the organization.

What We're Looking For
  • Interest or past experience in Investments or real estate is a plus.
  • Ability to work in our main office in St. Albert.
  • 2+ years experience in an administrative environment, preferably in a HR role.
  • Superior multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Intermediate Accountant

We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our team in St. Albert, AB.


Responsibilities:
  • Payroll administration
  • Process accounts payable and expense reports
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Monthly merchant account and credit card reconciliations
  • Communicate with other internal departments as well as liaising with external vendors
  • Other accounting projects as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in accounting
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle various financial information in a fast-paced environment
  • Accounting/payroll certificate or diploma would be considered an asset
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is an asset
