July’s ‘Life on the Fast Track’ Success Story
Darren, I’m writing to tell you that your mission is truly changing people's lives. I thought you'd like to hear a success story that has absolutely inspired me and is a direct reflection of your efforts.
My friend, Scott Neumann, first attended one of your cash flow events about a year ago. Although he listened to what was said and enjoyed the event, he really had a closed mind. After the event he said things like, "Well, I can't afford that” and “I need another four months before I can do it." At the time he was working as a lifeguard at an Edmonton-area swimming pool making a starting lifeguard wage of $15/hr.
After attending his second event, Scott started asking me questions about my real estate investments and how I was doing with them. I explained a few deals to him and he decided that he wanted to learn more. Although he’s been stuck in a rut and wasn’t sure how to get out of it, he started to believe that he could do it and wanted to pursue his dream to fly an A380 aircraft.
After this event he finally decided to quit his job. He then started working for a Canadian airline. It was a tough decision. He had to take a pay cut to $10/hr to start working in the industry he loves as a customer service agent, but he wanted to get his foot in the door (something he learned at your conference). In the meantime, he kept asking questions about my investments, yet he was hesitant to do anything with this knowledge.
While this was going on I had signed up for your 2006 Business Super Conference. To my dismay I had an emergency trip to China and couldn't go. Since I had paid for the conference and couldn't attend, I invited Scott to take my place and he flew out for your conference.
All I can say is that your conference gave him a "push" that really put him over the top. Within 30 days of coming home he started looking for real estate investments in Edmonton. He would call me and say, "Randy, I have to see you in an hour" and he would present a new deal. He looked at a couple and his mind was made up. He was determined to make it happen. The problem he faced was he didn't have enough money for a down payment to get into the game.
That's when he met you face-to-face. You were on your way to Toronto and he checked you in at the airline’s ticket counter. He was excited and told you that he was trying to do a deal. You asked, "Are you using other people's money?" to which Scott said not really. You encouraged him and that set off an explosion in him.
Within two weeks he approached his cousin and me about a new deal and we ended up closing on his first property in December. Scott’s excitement and sense of satisfaction with doing this deal has been truly inspiring to me – he is really flying high! He believes that he can do it now and that nothing is going to stand in his way.
I honestly have to thank you for helping my friend and thought you would appreciate knowing how much you've helped change his life. He is a different person now and I'm thankful to be his friend!
To make things even better, he secretly bought me a seat for your 2007 Business Super Conference in October. We're both going and I couldn't be more excited!

I thought Akash was insane for making me get up at 6:30 on a Saturday morning (I live quite a distance out of Vancouver) and spend my whole day there.
